The 0-0 Sekkakudo model is the result of a chance meeting and a shared obsession. When Jean Philippe Joly visited the Sekkakudo studio in Tokyo, a collaboration was inevitable. By reimagining an original Sekkakudo silhouette, Jean has transformed a classic into a sculptural masterpiece that bridges French architectural flair and Japanese precision.

Born from the creative interaction between two of the world’s most dedicated eyeglass lovers, this special model features a meticulous blend of design signatures:

  • Sculptural Cutting: Jean Philippe Joly’s signature front-cutting arrangements and distinct frame coloring.
  • Tokyo Heritage: Specialized temple ends featuring the Skytree design, suggested by Takahashi, the representative of Sekkakudo.
  • Curated Optics: Custom lens colors specifically selected by Takahashi to complement the frame’s unique geometry.
